The Collingwood All Stars have announced the recruitment of US import Precious Roberts for their 2020 Big V Women’s team.

The highly talented 170cm point guard, residing from Jacksonville, Florida, is set to make a significant addition to Collingwood’s Division Two squad.

Precious most recently played professional basketball with the Jacksonville Lady Panthers from 2016 to 2019 in the Eastern Conference of the Women’s Basketball Development Association League. Precious was a member of the team that won the 2017 Conference Championship.

During her time with the Lady Panthers, Precious averaged 14.3 points per game and 4.3 assists per game.

All Stars President, Tony Corr, said Precious will be a fantastic addition to the All Stars Big V Women’s team.

“Precious is a highly talented basketballer and we expect her to help our Big V Women’s team make great strides in 2020,” said Tony.

Precious also hopes her presence to the association will bring something new.

She said, “I am very excited to be here and be a part of something great. With hard work and faith comes great opportunity. I’m looking forward to a very successful season with the All Stars!”

The Collingwood All Stars will kick off their 2002 season on Sunday March 15 against Mornington Breakers at Mornington Basketball Stadium.
