About A&M

The Alannah & Madeline foundation was set up in memory of Alannah and Madeline Mikac, aged six and three, who were tragically killed with their mother and 32 others at Port Arthur, Tasmania, on 28 April 1996.  A&M’s key objectives are to care for children who have experienced or witnessed serious violence, reduce the incidence of bullying, cyber bullying and other cyber risks, and, advocate for the safety and wellbeing of children.

How Chelsea is raising money

Selling purple accessories including: Beanies, socks, neck-warmers and A&M merchandise, as well as baked goods, fidget spinners, raffles, face painting and donation tins. All proceeds will go directly to the foundation. Over the past seven years, Chelsea has donated over $10,000 to the foundation to date.

Purple is the official colour of the A&M foundation and Chelsea will be embracing this by having our teams wear purple singlets, as well as encouraging all supporters on the day to wear purple clothing.
