Western Port women’s rebuild has begun

The Western Port Steelers are proud to announce their first major signing for their 2019 women’s side as well as tryout information.

New women’s head coach Warren Heigh has wasted no time in commencing a total rebuild of the team and has announced his first major signing in Rachael Wansbrough, Warren said Rachael is a quality player and team orientated, her experience and leadership will be a perfect fit for the Steelers in 2019.

Heigh also added It’s not just skill level I’m looking for in players, but players that can work together and have a team attitude not a “me” attitude, and that will fit into the culture we want to create at Western Port for 2019.”
