The Whittlesea Pacers Christmas may have come a little early with the double announcement of their import combination for the Championship Women’s team in 2019.
The Whittlesea Pacers would like to announce Dani Reinwald and Rachel Bell as their import combination for the 2019 Championship Women’s season.
A native of Pennsylvania, Dani played her college basketball at Medaille University in the NCAA Division III in Upstate, New York. Dani was dominant throughout her four year career and finished her senior season averaging 19 points, 16.1 rebounds, 3.9 steals, 2.5 blocks and 2 assists per game all while shooting 45%FG from the floor.
Pacers head coach Damon Lowery added “I couldn’t be more excited with Dani and Rachel. Dani is extremely versatile and athletic, she runs the floor like a guard, can put the ball on the floor and protect the rim. I had to do a double take when I saw her stats.”
A native of Tennessee, Rachel played her college basketball at Vanderbilt University in the NCAA Division I. In the extremely competitive SEC conference, Rachel averaged double figures and shot the three-ball from 36%3P for her career.
Lowery added “Rachel is everything I was looking for in a guard, can handle it, shoot it, create her own shot, and plays with toughness and intensity.”
“I see this as a new beginning at the club with us being promoted to Championship Women, there’s a buzz around the club. Dani and Rachel will be great role models and a massive boost for our junior girls program.”
