The Melbourne University Black Angels are excited to announce the signing of their new head coach for the senior men in preparation for the 2019 season
The Melbourne Uni Black Angels are pleased to announce that John Dorge and Peter Fleming will be joining the Club as the Men’s Head and Assistant Coaches in 2019.
John’s distinguished career includes:
- 22 years of involvement in the NBL as a player, captain and assistant coach
- 2 time Olympic selection and over 150 games played representing Australia
- All-NBL First Team selection
- 4 NBL championships
- 8 NBL Grand Finals
- NZNBL Coach of the Year
Together, this duo will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge from their impressive playing careers as well as NBL and SEABL coaching experience.

Note: Players are not required to be students of Melbourne University however preference will be given to students.
Please bring a drink bottle and a light and dark top to all sessions.
