The Keilor Basketball Association and Keilor branch of the VBRA have committed to ‘Go Grey in May’, all in the name of raising money and awareness to help fight brain cancer.

With brain cancer killing more people aged under 40 than any other disease, as well as getting the least amount of funding to go towards research and prevention than any other type of cancer, there are a range of ways the team at Keilor are asking the community to help this cause that is very close to their hearts.

  1. Donate via Keilor’s Cure Brain Cancer donation page.
  2. Buy raffle tickets at all Keilor games during the month of May.
  3. Share this video to help increase awareness.
  4. If anyone is wondering why the refs at Keilor are decked out in grey and purple for the month of May, let them know it’s to raise awareness about the brain cancer.
  5. Attend the special Keilor double-header on May 19 to celebrate ‘Go Grey in May’.
