With the Frankston Blues re-entry into Big V, the women's program is seeking interested candidates for the role of Big V women's head coach.

As a previous championship winner at the Big V Division One level, the Frankston Blues have a proud history of developing athletes from the Frankston Junior Blues program into Senior Blues representative players.

As Head Coach of Frankston Blues women's Big V team, you will be motivated to take the next step in your representative coaching career working with some of the best coaches in the country.

You will have a passion for working intensively with junior athletes on their journey to senior representative basketball while continuing to build on a culture of high performance under the guidance of Frankston's SEABL Women's Head Coach.

Position Requirements

Planning

- Conduct talent identification within Junior Blues program

- Support personnel acquisition (athletes; support staff)

- Support Resource Management planning

- Individual / Team / Sports Science

 

Competition

- Support the effective preparation and delivery of individual & team performance

- Support the continued integration of a 'one club' model for the Blues program working in conjunction with the Junior Blues program and SEABL Women's Head Coach

- Support promotional activities as part of the Frankston Blues Women's Big V program

- Media

- Junior Coach mentoring

- Representative & advocate of the Blues senior women's program

 

Review

- In consultation with the Frankston Basketball High Performance sub-committee facilitate and report annual team & athlete reviews
