State Championship Men

Keilor Thunder would like to announce the re-signing of Liam Glascott as head coach to our Men’s team.

Liam coached our Men’s team last season in Division One, where the team went on to win the grand final. The club is very happy with the work that Liam Glascott has done with the Men’s and are excited to have him on board to coach the Men at the State Championship level for next season. “I’m excited to be back for another season with the BigV Men after a successful 1st season as head coach and winning Division One. I am looking forward to the challenges of coaching in State Championship as it is a first in the clubs history.” (Liam Glasscott)

State Championship Women

Keilor Thunder are happy to announce that Tom Bandilovski will continue coaching our Women’s side in 2018.

Tom did a great job in 2017 taking the team all the way to the grand final and getting the team promoted to the State Championship Level. We are very excited to have Tom on board with us again and are looking forward with what is to come next year. See what Tom has to say about coaching at Keilor again: “I’m very excited to be coaching the Keilor Senior Women’s Team for a second year, we had a terrific season last year and we aim to build on it in 2018. The majority of the team will be back for the 2018 season and we will be also looking to strengthen the team where needed. We are all very excited about the move to SCW, our team was the youngest in the DV1 competition and no doubt this will be the same in SCW. I am extremely proud of how they came together as a team, their youth, determination and passion for the game will be a key at this higher level. Keilor Basketball Association has great structure and clear pathways for junior players to transition from domestic basketball to representative basketball and then through to the senior programs. The support we get as coaches and players is unbelievable and I am very happy to be part of this club. “ KEILOR BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION

We are beyond excited and eager to test our talents in Youth League’s highest division, state championship. We have a talented core of players returning, to go along with a very strong junior program. In 2018 we will set new goals, set high standards and look to tick all the boxes as we grow as a team and as a club.
