Chelsea Gulls re-sign head coach

The Chelsea Gulls Big V men’s coach for 2018 will be current coach Peter Caspersz who coached the men to the 2017 Grand Final only to lose game 3 against Keilor Thunder.

Caspersz will take on the group for his third straight season as D1Men’s coach and will be looking to go one step more in 2018 after a heartbreaking 2017 season.

“I am very excited to be coaching this great group again, we were so young and energetic and that was such a great season that we can hopefully continue to grow and push more juniors into the senior program.

One of the improvements for this new season will be to help Standerfer and Brasser who have agreed to go on again which is a massive plus for the team and the club, but we need a couple of hard bodies to give them a hand and we have 2 players who have agreed to play with us in 2018 who fit the bill brilliantly (more on that at another date).

We will keep the majority of players in fact I imagine all will come back and we have already started open gym sessions and getting 20/30 guys coming down and scrimmaging which is awesome” – coach Peter Caspersz.
