Big V CEO to take on new chapter

Big V CEO Julie Anderson has decided to step aside from the Victorian state league competition to continue her pathway inside basketball circles.

Anderson believes the timing is right to continue her journey as she steps away from the league in a better place holistically than when she stepped into the role.

After notifying the Senior Representative Committee during the week, the time came at the conclusion of Anderson's fourth Big V season at the helm.

"It was a very difficult decision but one made easier knowing the SRC and Big V are in a good place to continue the progress made during my tenure," Anderson said.

"I have enjoyed my time at Big V, met many great people that give freely of their time to ensure our league and game proposer with a view to retaining our role as a leader in the sport.  You are all a credit to Basketball and I wish you well."

Anderson will finish her time at Big V in mid-October with further announcements expected to be made in due time.

On behalf of the Senior Representative Committee, Basketball Victoria and Big V staff members, we would like to both congratulate and thank Julie on her fantastic achievements during her tenure with the league, and wish her the best for all of her future endeavours.
