Elias will continue with the Championship Men after a fantastic season leading them to the Grand Final this year.  George and David were both involved in our senior program in 2017. George assisted Elias with our State Championship Women for the past four seasons and David was our interim coach for the Youth League Men in 2017. Both will be great additions to the Championship Men.

Matt will lead our women in 2018 after assisting with both our Championship Men and Women in 2017. Matt has good junior coaching credentials as well as a very lengthy playing career which included a three year stint with the Falcons. It seemed like the logical path for Matt and we think he will do a great job. Alan Miller will continue as an assistant with the Championship Women after his first season with the team. We welcome Jay to Waverley for the 2018 season, Jay had a long playing career and will no doubt bring a lot to our Championship Women.

Elias will also be head coach of our Youth League Men who are coming off a very disappointing season in 2017. He will be assisted by Daniel O’Neill who has been the Championship Men’s assistant the past five seasons and been a coach in our Under 18 program for a number of years. He’s a great club person and will no doubt add a lot of senior coaching experience to the team. Stuart will continue as an assistant with the Youth Men after just completing his first year in the senior program.

Brendon will again coach our Youth League women for his fourth season. Coming off their best season in a number of years our Youth Women will be looking at taking the next step and being part of the finals action in 2018. Paul is back at the club after a few years at Casey. Paul has a very long and proud history here at Waverley and we are very happy to have him back at the club. Ian and Damien will return as assistant coaches after doing a great job this season.

Our Youth League Men and Women tryouts begin on Thursday October 12th here at Waverley.
