Warrandyte Senior Women's Head Coaching Vacancy



Warrandyte Venom Big V Program is seeking expressions of interest for the following coaching position:
Big V Senior Women Head Coach

Your role will include but not be limited to:
• Communicate effectively with coaches, Association Administrators, Big V Delegate Game Day Commissioner & the Warrandyte Basketball Association Committee.
• Actively strive towards the association’s goals for success within the competition.
• Work with the Youth League Women’s Coach to develop players
• Provide feedback, leadership and guidance to the players on and off the court.
• Attend all games, training session, tournaments and functions when requested by the club.
• Organise tryouts, selections and extensive pre-season schedule for 2018 season.
• Develop and implement strategies within the team in preparation for all games.
• Uphold Warrandyte’s Core Values and contribute to our ‘trademark’.
• Sharing coaching philosophies and knowledge within the senior coaching group.
• Adhere to the Basketball Victoria Code of Conduct & Warrandyte Basketball Association policies.

* Previous positions(s) as Coach or Assistant Coach at a senior representative level
* Level 2 (association coach) Accreditation or equivalent.
* Demonstrated history in basketball.
* Current Working with Children check
