The Chelsea Gulls have secured the services of an already well established Big V star to fill the clubs second import spot.
The Chelsea Gulls men have moved quickly to secure the services of import Colin Voss for the 2019 Big V season.
Colin will join Corey Standerfer at the Nest as the two imports for their men’s team who will move up a division after winning last season’s Division One Men championship.
Colin played last year for Southern Peninsula in Division Two Men and dominated the boards where he averaged 20 points per game, 13 rebounds per game & 3 assists per game.
Previously from Nth Texas in the US, Colin quickly established himself as a dominate force inside and this is why Chelsea were keen to lock him in before he went back home for some R&R.
“Colin has exactly what we are after from a big, he can run the floor as good as most and is a real threat outside the arc as much as he is inside the paint, after a chat with him at the Nest a few weeks ago (before he headed home), I knew this was the player we needed going up a division. With a couple of real handy signings already to our roster, Colin will fill the big man role for us perfectly” – coach Peter Caspersz.
Chelsea have their men’s try outs starting this Sunday 21st Oct at Patterson River Stadium at 1.00pm.
“Looking at who has registered so far, this is going to be really exciting for our program” – Peter Caspersz.
