In the second half, Baw Baw fought hard against the defence of Jodi Dumbleton and Rachel Catania to even the score. Melanie Stewart was rewarded with her pressure at the goalkeeper scoring two field goals.
Baw Baw scored within the final minutes, after a lucky encounter in the circle to score the winning goal. Coach Ryan Tout said he was disappointed to walk away with the loss after the team played such a hard-fought game.
